“A coward does not play Golf”-this is how a familiar phrase can now sound in a new way. And all because playing Golf on ice is only possible for those who are not afraid of the scorching icy wind and meeting with the main rivals-polar bears.
Golf on ice is a relatively young phenomenon. The first Amateur championship in this unique sport was held in 1984 in the state of Minnesota. Today, the game has thousands of fans around the world.
Since 1997, the ice Golf Championships have been held annually in Greenland, on the island of Umanak, 560 km from the Arctic circle. Continue reading
